With Tiny Core, you can easily install and run it on any PC or laptop through popular virtual machine platforms like Vmware Player and VirtualBox. You can even boot it directly from a USB drive!

First things first, head to the official website and click on the Tiny Core (16MB) download link to get your hands on the ISO file.

Install Tiny Core Linux on VMware Player

Once you’ve downloaded the Tiny Core ISO file, open VMware Player and select the “Create a New Virtual Machine” option. From there, select the radio button for the “Installer Disc Image File (ISO)” option and browse for the Tiny Core ISO file. Next, select “Linux” as the Guest Operating system type and choose “Other Linux 4.x kernel” from the Version drop-down menu. Name your Virtual Machine and continue through the process. Once completed, select your Virtual Machine from the left panel and click on the “Boot Tiny Core” option from the Boot menu. In just a few seconds, you’ll have the Tiny Core GUI ready to use!

Important Note: For best results, make sure to download and use the 16MB version of Tiny Core.
